The 8th Annual North Texas EggFest, a Big Green Egg culinary event, returns to Dallas on Saturday, October 19, 2024. This family-friendly event features 20+ teams cooking on the Big Green Egg to win bragging rights as the 2024 North Texas EGGhead of the Year. Guests will be able to taste delicious samples and vote for their favorite items prepared on the Big Green Egg.
This years event includes:
- UNLIMITED DELICIOUS SAMPLES: Treat your taste buds and vote for your favorites as over 20 cook teams present an array of mouthwatering treats adding a dash of creativity to the fest plus enjoy samples from Low and Slow Snacks, Mountain Valley Spring Water and more
- CULINARY CREATIONS KITCHEN presented by FOGO charcoal: Be mesmerized as skilled chefs showcase their talents with Big Green Eggs, igniting inspiration for your culinary adventures. This year’s classes will be led by 3 time EggFest champions Halal BBQ PitMasters, Ron Dimpflmaier of Team Big Green Egg, Chef Ken Patrick, and Alicia Duncan of the Board Lady.
- CHEF TO THE SHELTERS SILENT AUCTION:: Bid and raise funds for Chef to the Shelters, a 501(c)3 charity who provides meals to sober transition and living homes for adults and adolescents.
- CELEBRITY JUDGING PANEL: Actress and chef D’Andra Simmons of the Real Housewives of Dallas, Sean Giggy of WFAA-TV Daybreak, Kristin Diaz of Newsradio 1080 KRLD, Ron Dimpflmaier of Team Big Green Egg, & Brandon Roy of B. Roys BBQ will be voting on the most creative, most unique, and best tasting dishes at the North Texas EggFest
