2024 Lone Star African Violet Council Convention

The state convention for African violet and gesneriad growers is attended annually by enthusiasts from across Texas and other parts of the country. The convention includes a judged show of African violets — including plants that are standards, semi-miniatures, miniatures, and trailers — and design entries in many categories. Other gesneriad varieties are also featured in the show. Commercial vendors will have plants, growing supplies, and African violet themed merchandise available for purchase. Educational workshops and other activities are available exclusively for convention attendees. The show room and sales room is open to the public.
