Mary Katherine Goodrich & Christopher Roby 11.5.11

Former DFW Events team member (May 2004 – Feb. 2007), Mary Katherine Goodrich, married Christopher Roby on November 5, 2011 at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church followed by a reception at the Belo Mansion & Pavilion. Mary Katherine and Christopher’s first date was on May 5, 2001 to Highland Park’s senior prom…and the high school sweethearts married exactly 10 years and 6 months later! The couple chose the Belo Mansion & Pavilion for their reception venue because the groom’s dad (Rob Roby) chaired the campaign that built the Belo Pavilion in 2003 and he has remained involved on a day to day basis with the Belo and the Dallas Bar Association ever since. So, needless to say, it’s a very special place for the Roby family! Mary Katherine and Christopher’s wedding day was a sweet (and fun) celebration of their relationship…it was a long time coming…and well worth the wait! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Roby!!!
Mary Katherine wore her mother’s veil which was made of Brussels lace (purchased in Brussels in 1959)…
The table in the atrium of the Belo featured photos of Mary Katherine and Christopher from every year that they dated, starting with their senior prom picture!
Velvet Hammer Milkshakes were passed late night…
