The Washington-Lincoln Alumni Association (WLAA) is proud to announce its 50th Annual National Convention, taking place from July 22–26, 2026. This landmark “Golden Jubilee” serves as a powerful homecoming for alumni of two of Dallas’s most storied and historic educational institutions: Booker T. Washington and Lincoln High Schools.
The Purpose: The 2026 convention is more than a reunion; it is a celebration of a 50-year legacy of unity, scholarship, and community service. For five decades, the WLAA has worked tirelessly to:

Preserve African American History: Honoring the cultural and civic impact of Booker T. Washington (Dallas’s first African American high school, established in 1922) and Lincoln High School (established in 1939).

Invest in Future Leaders: Celebrating a milestone achievement of providing over $1 million in scholarships to graduating seniors from both institutions.

Foster National Fellowship: Reconnecting a nationwide network of alumni who remain dedicated to the “Service First” mission of their alma maters.
