Shanghai meets Dallas…

Even though this wedding was almost 4 years ago, it’s definitely one of our favorites! Lindsay Oliver and Andy Klump met and fell in love in China, so it was only fitting to incorporate Chinese elements into their September 29, 2007 wedding at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church at The Dallas Museum of Art. This one was so much fun to be a part of! The bride and groom were extremely creative and a blast to work with! The bride had these obi sashes made for her bridesmaids in Shanghai…

Beautiful bouquets crafted by Fete Des Fleurs….the stems were covered in bamboo…
St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church…
The happy couple…fresh green lotus pods were incorporated into Lindsay’s bridal bouquet…
River rocks were used for the escort cards…
A Chinese lion entertained guests at the end of the cocktail hour in the Sculpture Gardens at The DMA…
A Chinese dragon lead the guests from the Sculpture Garden to the Hamon Atrium for dinner…
Fete Des Fleurs did a spectacular job with the Asian inspired centerpieces…Lindsay purchased the fabric for the table banding in China….

The cakes resembled The Forbidden City
An aerial shot of the Hamon Atrium…
The groom and groomsmen vests were made in China…
How precious are they?!
Chinese Rickshaw (aka: get-a-way car)…
Andy is quite the character….he had his departure suit custom made in Shanghai…luckily, his bride was a good sport!
I think it’s safe to say that their wedding day was a huge success!!
Lindsay and Andy still live in Shanghai!
