Leigh Wills and Austin Winans were married at the Church of the Incarnation, and celebrated with their friends and family at the Dallas Country Club. We first met the Wills’ three years ago when Leigh’s sister, Whitney, got engaged. We soon grew to adore the Wills Family and couldn’t have been happier to assist Leigh in her Big Day!

{Our thanks to Andrea Polito for sharing these beautiful photos of Leigh and Austin’s wedding day.}

Leigh and Austin have one of those terrific love stories: “We first dated in seventh grade!” says Leigh. “We went to the same junior high and high school and remained best friends there after we broke up. He went to TCU and I went to Ole Miss. We started dating our junior year of college and dated for four years before becoming engaged!”

While the bride, groom, their families, 9 bridesmaids, 8 groomsmen, 4 ushers, 1 junior bridesmaid, 4 ringbearers and 2 flowergirls (plus one honorary flowergirl, a newborn baby) attended the rehearsal at church, the out-of-town guests were treated to a welcome party at the Warwick Melrose.

The wedding day was soon to begin:

As the ceremony began, a violinist and guitar-soloist filled the church with beautiful music for the prelude, and all eyes were on Leigh as she walked down the aisle in her breathtaking gown. The couple incorporated a family Bible into their ceremony, a Wills family tradition that dates back generations of brides.

Welcoming guests to the Dallas Country Club, the Bullet Proof Brass jazz trio played, and guests took in the beauty of the couple’s design touches, including photos of the couple from their early dating days.

When Leigh and Austin made their grand entrance, the band played the very fitting song “September,” and soon Leigh and Austin danced their first dance as husband and wife to the Jersey Boys version of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.”

The party was soon in full swing, the dance floor packed throughout the night.

When it was time to make their getaway, Leigh and Austin dashed through a shower of flutter-fetti to their getaway car, which is owned by Austin’s uncle.
