Jenn & Ben 2.28.10

We were honored to be a part of Jennifer Lan and Ben Lane’s Feb. 28, 2010 wedding day at The Rosewood Crescent Hotel. The bride, groom and their families were very involved in the planning process, which made it a lot of fun and gave us the opportunity to really get to know them well before the big day. Jenn and Ben wanted their wedding day to be relaxed, fun and filled with laughter….and that it was! Every detail was special and truly represented the bride and groom. Everyone really had a great time celebrating their wedding day! A big thanks to Tim Hord Photographyfor providing the following pictures….Jennifer’s gown (from Stanley Korshak) was stunning…it fit her like a glove!

Jennifer signing…

The ceremony was held outdoors in the Courtyard at The Rosewood Crescent Hotel. We were quite lucky with a perfect day in February! The bride always wanted to marry outdoors, so we were thrilled that it worked out for her. You just never know what the weather will bring in Texas…it could be snowing one day and sunny the next! The Garden Gate Floral Design created a beautiful Chuppah for the ceremony. The Ketubah was displayed underneath the Chuppah, as well as Jennifer’s mother’s wedding gown, which was draped over the table that held the Kiddush Cup.

The wedding party…

Post ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the Garden Room and Ballroom Foyer, followed by a seated dinner in the Crescent Ballroom. The floral centerpieces were beautiful and Absolute Lighting did a fantastic job with the specialty lighting.

The bride and groom sharing their first dance together! If you look closely you’ll notice the wedding party’s snazzy shoes! Jenn and Ben gave the girls sequined Toms and the guys Converse All Stars as gifts to wear during the reception. They were definitely a big hit….everyone had comfy dancing shoes!!
The Crescent provided an assortment of cupcakes (Jenn’s favorite) for the brides cake and mini pecan pies and vanilla milkshakes (Ben’s favorite) were waiter passed for a tasty late night snack!

My favorite part of the evening….The Hora!!
The Emerald City Band kept the dance floor packed all night long!

Jenn and Ben left the reception to the sounds of the band’s horn section playing “When I’m 64” by The Beatles! Congratulations you two!! Thanks again for letting us be a part of your wedding day!
