Private Residence

A stunning bride. A gorgeous Preston Hollow estate. A custom backyard build-out. Needless to say, the combination of this bride’s fairytale-inspired vision and DFW Events’ exemplary execution created one of the prettiest little backyard weddings Dallas has ever seen.

A croquet court located in the manor’s sunken garden proved to be perfectly positioned for Amanda and Justin’s wedding, and was duly transformed into an elevated ceremony stage by custom flooring, a fabric-draped archway, and a crystal chandelier. After the bride walked down an aisle outlined by piles of white petals, the couple exchanged vows in front of stone urns overflowing with all-white floral arrangements created by The Garden Gate’s Junior Villanueva.

Cushioned benches and white Chiavari chairs were positioned across the green lawn in view of the estate, evoking the atmosphere of an English garden party. A custom reception tent transformed the family’s tennis court into a wedding wonderland that was as gilded as it was glamorous—draped fabric, luxe flower arrangements, plates and stemware accented by gold scrolling, and a ceiling dripping with crystals created the breathtaking aesthetic designed by Stage Works’ Nelson Robinson.

A grand experience

The setting of this wedding couldn't have been more beautiful thanks to the backdrop of a gorgeous English-style manor. It was a grand experience from start to finish with surprise elements that unfolded as guests moved through the estate for different segments of the party. Mary-Frances

Softer hues of violet and silver were selected for the tablecloths and floral arrangements featured in the cocktail area, which was staged around the yard’s koi pond, and were also reflected in the bridesmaids’ dresses and dance floor lighting. A groom’s cake in the shape of Big Tex paid homage to the couple’s southern roots, and late-night sustenance from Ruthie’s Rolling Café food truck proved a welcome treat for those who remained on the dance floor until midnight. After bidding their guests farewell, a walk through a pergola draped in wisteria blooms and shimmering crystal curtains led Amanda and Justin to their getaway car … and the beginning of their own happily-ever-after.
